The Resurrection Season

Well it all began on a Saturday morning in September of 2017 at a little league football game when God told me, “Solomon the windows of heaven are not open, but they will be in 2018! Everything will be new for you and all those who continuously seek Me.” I immediately called my mother to share this great news and the utter anticipation for 2018 began. I can’t say I remember anything else about that football game.

It was a Sunday morning on the last week of February, the 25th, and I was on my way to church praying in the spirit. Then all of a sudden the song “Resurrecting” by Elevation Worship leaped within me, “By your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat, the resurrected King is resurrecting me. In your Name I come alive to declare your victory, the resurrected King is resurrecting Me.” It was pouring out of me like hot water bursting from a geyser. I knew something major was about to take place.

Later that night God allowed me to help lead one of my closest friends out of a major bondage he had been in for quite some time. The freedom was entirely connected to His purpose being revealed. It was amazing to see him take dominion of his life back and begin to truly walk in spiritual freedom and his mighty godly purpose. After my friend was delivered on the 25th, the Lord said, “Solomon what is the significance of the 25!” I knew he had been teaching me numerology or the significance of numbers and how they speak. He was referring to 2+5= 7, and the number 7 stands for completion. I could clearly see he had been completely freed but there was much more to this. Paul says, “all that I know now is partial and incomplete” (1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT).

The following day on the 26th, I would begin to minister, solely by the Holy Spirit, to another friend who had been dealing with a certain generational curse. He was so down and tired of falling to the same sin. After we talked for some time, I saw a vision of my friend in a what looked like a cell with shackles on and Jesus was sitting next to him holding a key; I shared this with him. After the vision the waters erupted again as I sang, “By your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat, the resurrected King is resurrecting Me. In Your name I come alive to declare your victory, the resurrected King is resurrecting Me.” I told him that song was for him. It was prophetic. He immediately said he could hear Jesus calling his name, and he saw Jesus was now handing him the key. After that word I began to see a vision of him being resurrected from the ground up and God saying, “You will never be bound again.” “Certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” (Romans 6:5-6). At this time it was about 3 a.m. and after prayer I got off the phone and passed out.

That night I had a dream and I could then begin to piece together the picture. The dream was so vivid as I could see myself as I opened the doors of my friend’s homes so we could leave out of Egypt. I woke up and the Lord began to speak to me. He first had me realize that the 26th was significant due to 2+6= 8, which means resurrection or rebirth. The Lord told me that He is in a season of resurrecting His people and freeing them from the bondage of sin and death that has imprisoned them for so long. He is pouring out in this time a mighty anointing that we may crossover the Red Sea (symbolic of the resurrection) into His promises. He also said you will not leave empty handed.

The Lord then told me to check my calendar and to look at the months of February and March. They have the EXACT SAME DATES for the entire month with March having 3 extra days (check your calendar). God is allowing for another cycle or double portion of this special anointing. This all leads us into the first of April which is Resurrection Sunday. Also according to the Jewish calendar, this same time in history God told the Israelites to prepare to leave the land of Egypt in haste and to bake their bread with no leavening, the Lord’s Passover. God told me that April 1st would be the beginning of a New Year. After searching His Word regarding these astonishing revelations it was confirmed in Exodus 12 as the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you” (v.2). I believe that this is about to be the greatest outpouring that we have ever seen in the history of the world. He is opening “His good treasure, the heavens to give the rain to your land in its season” (Dueteronomy 28:12) very soon. I implore everyone to “ask for rain in the time of latter rain” according to Zechariah 10:1, as I believe what God is pouring out in the month of March is only the former rain.
